Idk. I think as long as we allow ourselves to be controlled by a 2 party paradigm, we’ll always get shitty results. There is no incentive for either party to do the right thing.

Agreed, once in awhile we get badasses like Ron Paul, but the 2 party system forces conformity too broadly imo. A 3rd or 4th party option would definitely help. And both major parties know how much it would change the dynamic and that’s why they fight tooth and nail to prevent 3rd party candidates from participating in debates. They know if a non partisan 3rd option was presented, a lot of people would agree with them.
