Idk. I think as long as we allow ourselves to be controlled by a 2 party paradigm, we’ll always get shitty results. There is no incentive for either party to do the right thing.

I would switch that around. The bad people want you to think its nuanced but I believe it's very simple. Both parties are just different gangs who extort you, imprison you, spy on you, and occasionally kill innocent people. They want you to think you are doing something to improve things by voting for a different party but the basics don't ever change. The 2 party system is set up to keep hope alive in people, to make them think if they can just get their party back in charge things will improve, and sometimes they will improve something temporarily to throw you a bone, but if you zoom out the trend is always more government power and less freedom.
