Girls, I just finished watching Maid on Netflix.
Honestly, I’m deeply moved. This is not just a series — it’s a powerful reminder of how vulnerable women can be, especially when they’re in a relationship with an abuser, with a small child in their arms, not knowing what the right thing to do is.
It tells the story of a young mother with a 3-year-old daughter, left alone with no support, no money, trying to find a job, trying to stay strong and survive. Everything is shown so raw, so real, and so painful.
Girls, if you’re just starting a relationship — please, never, never let anyone hurt you.
If someone raises their voice or their hand in the beginning — it will only get worse from there. And getting out later is much harder.
Take care of yourselves. Value yourselves. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
