I see it as different rules for different platforms. Facebook and others do the same thing. It’s just “homegrown spying: ok, foreign: bad”. We need a level playing field of privacy protection, not a witch hunt

^^ anecdotally, most worrying example I heard was someone visiting class at a school talking about Taiwan and noting that Taiwan is not part of China And one student puts their hand up and asks "but I thought Taiwan was part of China"
