Weekly rewards are meant to support creators who spend their time and energy creating engaging content on Farcaster. 

We've seen some accounts try to trick the algo by coordinating engagement, and redirect rewards towards low effort or uninteresting content. We're making changes to fix this. 

1. The algo will reward diverse weekly engagement. If you get two likes from different people, they'll give you more points than two likes from the same person.

2. The algo may reduce or eliminate points from some accounts based on heuristics (engaging with spammy accounts, only with a particular account, in time patterns that suggest coordination etc)

The problem is I've spent time, like you said creating, sourcing and casting original content on this application and I've gotten very very little rewards in return, and a sizable population of the people who dominate the leaderboards overtly post bland and irrefutably perfunctory content. The math isn't mathing. It's almost as though you're periodically adjusting the algo to penalize originality and reward Mediocrity, which is the direct opposite of what you've repeatedly claimed to do. It's not Just me of course. I know and engage with very value-oriented accounts that struggle ceaselessly to maintain relevance. Please look into this

I took a look at your profile. This kind of stuff isn’t going to get you to the top of the leaderboard. 

Nothing wrong with it, I just can’t see most people being interesting in seeing miniapp shares and comments like these, which looks like a lot of what you post

Have a look at the top 10 on the leaderboards recent casts and check out how much more interesting it is.....

you keep on ignoring the fact that people adapt to the environment; when it seems like it doesn't matter that much what is it that they cast, most will share whatever requires the least amount of effort
