biggest ux problems in rough priority order: 1. onboarding funds 2. preventing wallet loss (passkey backup, recovery etc) 3. explaining transactions so users can make safe decisions. 4. discovering the "right" token to trade 5. handling transactions when the account lacks the gas token 6. bridging assets between chains and ecosystems 7. dealing with "spammy" assets 8. managing / unifying wallet balances some of these are partially solved, but not completely.

Do we see a way to not need any explanation at all (3) and have txn feel like at stores?

Some security features worth considering adding: – Clear transaction explanations – USD equivalent shown in parentheses so users understand what they’re sending or receiving – Ability to revoke approvals directly in-wallet – Trusted apps list to avoid connecting to fake ones – Whitelist of safe addresses – And alerts when interacting with a contract for the first time, with an extra confirmation prompt from the user

Spam assets are annoying but not nearly as brutal as losing access to funds or not knowing how to bridge back to ETH. Priorities feel right here

Totally agree !these are spot on. 1–3 are especially critical for mainstream adoption. Even partial solutions often feel too fragmented or fragile. Still a lot of UX debt across the board.

1–3 are spot on. UX is about trust imo. If users fear they’ll lose funds or make a mistake they can’t undo, they’ll never go beyond surface-level usage. If we fix that, the rest follows.
