Superman was really good for a comic book movie, 7.5/10.

My qualms were that it had too much going on at times, Lois wasn't a strong female foil (she was a strong independent woman in Superman (1978)), and they avoided his origin story which reboots gotta do.

We really enjoyed it as well. Balanced action/comedy throughout. I’ve not followed the other versions closely, but I don’t get the shade thrown at David. He was good. Mr. Terrific, though, was…terrific.
