another year trying to celebrate my birthday, only to realize it's too soon and i don't have the energy to make things happen now.

also — is it just me, or does planning your own birthday feel like the most narcissistic thing ever?

Yep, I don’t even like telling people about my birthday let alone asking them to celebrate it.

Instead, if you want to hang out with people just have a get together for the sake of hanging out and don’t make it all about you. Low pressure.
