just booked a last-minute flight to be with one of my closest friends who’s grieving.
there’s nothing to fix. just showing up.
grief reorganizes everything, fast.
grateful to have the space to go when it matters.

that said… now taking suggestions on how to preserve 5–10 different desserts in a carry-on 😭 if i could pack the entire nyc dessert scene just to make her smile, i would.

it’s like they always say “you can measure the strength of a friendship by how much luggage you’re willing to ruin in the name of providing comfort, and the friend’s willingness to eat desserts out of said luggage”

If I did this in a sanitary way and then packed the other side with frozen gel packs, I don’t think she’d even be surprised 😂
