My in-laws still watch reruns of it, and it's astounding how bad it is.

Riding on the "nerd" wave, it was a way for people to feel smart without actually learning about anything.

The level of sexism in that show is nuts. Also they employed Mayim Bialik who's hardcore zi*nist.
