Everything in life is a trade off. The best deal is determined by what level of convenience you want. If the consumer is more technical or is willing to do a bit more work then alternatives exist. That doesn’t exist the same way with Tradfi.

yeah but also cobra incentives. I cannot find the same swap routes easily on other wallets, so Rainbow has an interest to keep their swap routes probably a secret so that they can charge the frontend fee or smth like that? Are consumers really getting the best deal here?

Still better than being chained to a single service provider and subject to their fees. At least you have the option to swap with an alternative provider or via the contract directly.
