Saw this tweet on a X and it’s actually very funny how some women can be, you jokingly threatened to cancel a meeting, and he jokingly reminded you he has options. Now you’re upset? Dating is full of “tests.” You say something unserious to check how he reacts. A thread 🧵 👇

But when he mirrors that energy with confidence, suddenly he’s the villain… Why is it only funny when you say it? The truth is, most people want honesty, until it hurts their ego. He didn’t beg, he didn’t get defensive, he just let you know: you’re not the only one with choices. And that’s healthy.

If a man said, “I might cancel,” and the woman replied, All good, I’ve got other guys waiting” she’d be labeled a queen for having boundaries. So why the double standard? He matched your energy. You cancelled the meeting. Fair exchange, no victim.

No. I beg to differ Such reply doesn’t make sense.. It’s not a forced friendship l believe. It’s not hook up either.

It’s not forced friendship, agreed. And it wasn’t a hookup either, which makes testing him even more pointless. If you joke about cancelling and he calmly shows he’s unbothered, that’s not arrogance. That’s called matching energy like an adult.

I feel those two aren’t best of buds. They’re acting too mature. Everyone wants to act woke . It’s not going to help anyone that hope to be in a relationship..
