He didn’t beg, he didn’t get defensive, he just let you know: you’re not the only one with choices. And that’s healthy.

Just own the fact that you expected him to chase, and got surprised when he didn’t. Sometimes the real problem isn’t that they have options… It’s that you thought you were the only one.
