Saturday was the anniversary of my accident last year where I got hit by a truck while riding my bike and ended up with a complex tibial plateau fracture that required two surgeries to fix a summer of bedrest and the fall learning how to walk again.

I posted my Amazon wish list on my Facebook and included a bike helmet that retails at $160 (though sales vary according to algorithms.)

Someone bought it for me!

It's got a built-in safety light on back and a 1080p camera on the front.

Cuz it sure would have been handy to have that last year!  Now it's all word-of-mouth and accident reconstructions to establish liability...
