Starting to do yoga because it has increased my flexibility and has helped me to endure/process some trying times and toxic emotions 😑what do you do to less tension emotionally? I might try something new next time.. I need your answers

Any form of expression works. Question is how you like to express yourself. walk jump cry sing play eat read cook dance run listen fly visit scream party pray fight laugh paint write draw shape grow drink share meet view realize taste touch style smell dream

Yin Yoga in particular (Melanie Kristina's 60m session on YT is my go- to); a short burst of High Intensity Interval Training when required (running up a hill for 400m in my case); a cold shower for at least 15 seconds. All three work well together too if particularly stressed. Audio recordings of rain also help.

i want to share my two cents that no emotion is toxic, its about the way it is expressed that can be beneficial or harmful i dont know what kind of yoga you do, but tantric yoga is the best to express supressed emotions! more high energy activities help me personally and lots of journaling
