If America were to have its partition moment (India-Pakistan) separated by Red-Blue states, which side would you move to? Knowing that it’s basically a permanent decision and there is little to no immigration b/n the two.

Wouldn't the split be more like East and West Germany, minus the risking your life at the border when crossing illegally

I’m less aware of East/West Germany than I am India-Pakistan.

Strangely there is a pretty large Indian community on my tropical island who seem to predominantly come from the region that is now part of Pakistan. People who draw lines on maps need to remember the people there (same with South and North Korea)
