i need a cheap API that can tell me all the mutuals of a given fid - dune query too expensive - neynar API no longer works building this requires an index of the whole follow graph and needs to be kept in sync

Update: best solution is probably reading up to N pages from snapchain’s getLinksByFid?fid/target_fid and then falling back to dune if there are additional pages And then add some caching

@quotient has an API for this, configurable to either follower mutuals or mutual interactions (i.e. both parties have interacted with each other's casts) happy to set you up!

Let me know if you find anything. I had a similar need but after a lot of digging determined it would require streaming events from a Hub/Snapchain node into a database, and since that kind of access is hard to get / expensive I gave up. Need to get a beefy Mac mini just to run Farcaster experiments lol

Do you need an API to check the mutual follow status like this? firefly.land & web3.bio could help!

wanting this particular query and seeing how many folks are trying to help is inspiring. I agree that your suggested n page lookup seems cheapest alternative for now.
