I miss the era of tech bros where they just showed off their cartoon-like uniform hoodie collections

Now they say stuff like this in public with their whole chest:

Our teen told us last night she learned a group of kids from her old school were crossing the street and three of them got hit with syringes during Fête de la Musique. They're 12 to 14 years old, and weren't even trying to be part of it, just needed to get home..
All three  went to the hospital and had no idea what had occurred. I won't get into more details from here but you can imagine being a young adolescent and not having the knowledge or experience to navigate this. 

We need to do better as a community for our kids and for us.

OG in many ways. If we are in the same city, find me, probably organizing a dinner.

The group is confused and they just ended their school year, one already had issues with big groups and one of her cousins was killed in Israel. So you can imagine..

I think the language we use is part of it, to the cast I quoted, tech bros just were nerfs who could code, hack etc. Now it's a hybrid of incel, isolation and way too much cash... Not a good combo esp if you don't have a good community and just folks looking for metrics etc..

It's a complicated one.. Ties back to the Netflix show, Adolescence.. 

I read about that. It's horrible. How the f*ck did we get to this point. Hope they are alright, but this is so traumatising. We need to do better.
