I’m now realising most folks take ‘diary’ in the dear diary sense. We mean it in the calendar/to-do list one. 

Love all the methods of recording experiences though. Tumblr was a great tool in ye olde times.

Proper trifective that. She's just got on the Notion train so might be up for going with a platform she already uses. (Much happier to mess with my workflow than add another app to hers, though I've uses it in the past too). Ty!

Apple notes works well, so does Notion. And then there’s tried and true Google docs.

Thanks. It's more the calendar + to do's she has in mind and good to know the Apple stuff suits there. What I use a lot anyway. (She's long been a physical diary maxi.)

I use notion for work and Logseq for personal note taking … but my wife and I ended up using shared apple notes folder for our shared digital diary + shared cal & shared apple reminders

Templater is the only plugin I use to autopopulate dates and headings and such when I create a note in a particular folder

Heard of, never looked up. Looks rad. 

Way more options it gives too. Any personal recommendations (plugins or whatnot)?
