btw Solana by far most painful chain to work on + most expensive:

1. Cost $150 to deploy the program
2. Gas fees cost me 20c each time a crush is posted
3. Dev environment full on nightmare
4. Verifying a contract requires Docker? and pulling GBs of images? and doesn't even work?

Feels pretty aligned with the "there are like only 6 major smart contracts that matter" narrative.

L2s are the most sustainable block-selling businesses possible (with current tech standards).

The economics are simply too powerful for any L1 to compete with, including Ethereum.

An L1 cannot compete with a system that doesn't require issuance and safety quorums to sell blocks

Seems logical, but it’s also wrong. There is no point to multiple L2s.  If a single L2 can handle parallel execution, then it can use up all the blobspace and run every usecase.  What’s more is that there aren’t infinite useful smart contracts, let alone execution environments.
