Oh yeah. Linux is honestly the way to go unless you're gaming on a PC.

What laptop do you use? I'm addicted to dualscreen laptops now. Don't think I can ever go back.

Just not terribly well integrated into things like Claude code and cursor, really annoying to have a split file system… it definitely works and I remember 2-3 years ago when it was practical for gen ai but I am very much deleting windows and native booting on my new laptop

I'm a big fan of WSL. Not as good as running Linux directly but so so convenient for many things.

Apple released Containerization. Don't why it went so unreported. Huge for autonomous agent development.

Multiple agents can run simultaneously and securely isolated without the overhead of full virtual machines.

Containers also have sub-second start times using an optimized Linux kernel configuration and a minimal root filesystem with a lightweight init system.

Like I'm not a Mac guy except for Media productions work but recently went terminal on MacBook and besides the extra clicking it was easy peasy...

if you make an agent that refines it's own code can you put my username and wallets addresses on some sort of whitelist in case it goes rogue
