I was one until done or nothing for most of my life. One of the habits I wish I discarded way earlier.

I can drop books on a whim now. I am free.

Sometimes, which is why the number of books I’ve abandoned is non-zero. But on the flip there have been books (mostly non fiction) that I’ve found absolutely challenging that have ultimately been incredibly rewarding 

Had I been non committal I would have never known. One at a time is a forcing function for me to make sure I stay the course even when I am not glued to the page

Oh come on, even books can sometimes bamboozle us

If I am dropping it, I didn’t do my due diligence and it should have never been picked up at all, is my POV!
