llms have been incredibly helpful in getting through ‘hard’ emails fast. an all powerful assistant to take care of the (critical) minutia while I lead w the high level direction.
On “Hard Work”.
The 3-minute email that is extremely painful to send — but necessary — is actually harder work than the 3 days of chaining yourself to the desk and ideating/planning/tweaking.
Evidence: We often use busyness as a way to avoid the business.
I prefer “tough” to “hardworking”.

anyone else feel a little underwhelmed that all it takes for ‘intelligence’ to emerge is math, data and compute*? not sure if im coping w humans not being all that or if the whole thing is way overblown

it's always funny how toddlers will take any change of location as an opportunity to see how fast they can run. bathroom to bedroom, cashier to door, anything is game. oh we're going to the door? zzzzzzzzoooooooom.
