on the moderation policy: it maps to scale. we lived it with nouns. all new things are fragile. culture needs orchestrating by a dictator to set tone; what’s allowed and what isn’t. the alternative is that the thing doesn’t grow and eventually dies.
so yeh, it sucks. but the alternative is nothing.
