I discovered Limewire a year later so this was the last CD I bought for several years haha.

And wow that's serendipitous timing!! Insanely jealous to connect with them like that, and very unsurprising for them to be on point about it.

I didn't appreciate them as much until I got older, how they weave serious politics without taking themselves seriously yet making great music is truly impressive. I need to catch them live before they break up again!!

I loved SOAD, but that was well into the Napster era so I don't think I ever owned an actual CD of theirs 😅

I did go see them live a week after 9/11 happened. They made some incredibly powerful statements and had some predictions that turned out to be insanely prophetic. Very much respect for the work they do.

Legendary album. Played so many games of Lego soccer in my roo with my brother just rocking out to this album on our stereo. Core memories.

I bought the CD of Michael Jackson's album Dangerous in 1997.
