This morning I'm getting an infusion like I do every other week. I'm grateful for free Canadian healthcare and the fact that I can get a nurse to come to my house and administer it. 🙏

I guess you are collecting your enzyme replacement therapy, they are pretty expensive, but good healthcare provides the best for you at affordable cost.

I am a medical student sir, going to be a doctor by this time next year. So I am quite familiar with some of these diseases

Yea, I would guess not every doctor will run into someone with Fabry

Oh, it’s not their fault though, the amounts of diseases in Medicine are too many to keep track of, everyday we learn of a new one too, medicine keeps evolving🙃

Oh cool! I do meet doctors that have never heard of it but sometimes they mention learning about it briefly in med school.
