Right. I guess they probably want to have it on lockdown in case they do have to capitulate and negotiate.

It shows they have no other major bargaining chips.

It makes sense if they want to try and put pressure on other nations to put pressure on US/Israel, but doesn't make a lot of sense in terms of their own economic interests.

It is certainly going to piss off China and the other oil rich countries in the region.
