i scroll through my feeds (tg, ig, fb) - it’s all success stories, shiny lives, new projects, exotic trips, whirlwind romances, wild adventures. on X and farcaster it’s just wins and wit, popularity and quotability, and honestly, even that’s enough to spiral. everyone’s out here living life at 200%. meanwhile, i’m just trying to calm my anxiety and adhd for the tenth time this week, because the sheer pressure of it all makes my body physically tense. and i start to wonder: - what are we, the regular folks, supposed to do? - how do you feel even 50% of your potential? - how do you believe, even just 25%, that you’re doing okay, no matter what your day looks like? what’s the trick today? the tool, the practice, the tiny ritual that will keep your brain from flying off the rails entirely?

This is honest and deeply relatable. You’re not alone in feeling this. I often feel the same

I've really enjoyed the process of sharing my habit tracker whiteboard It forces myself to acknowledge not every day/week is going to be perfect, and I often get the most supportive feedback when I have "bad" weeks!

Honestly? Sometimes the biggest win is just not spiraling. If all you did today was pause, breathe and stay kind to yourself, that’s enough. You don’t need to match anyone’s highlight reel. You just need to meet yourself where you are 🖤

I’m here just to connect and communicate. Success is different for everyone. Life might seem perfect online. But real life is another level of everything. Don’t let narratives put you down. They are only narratives.

First of all, it’s social media so everyone is showing off. Second, give yourself a break and take a breath. You’re here, you’re doing better than most. Third, don’t let the perfect get in the way of the done. You’re awesome.👏🏼
