Also MLK was  killed by the state so like goes to show no matter how peaceful you are the state will always enact violence on you no matter what if you resist

Can’t cite MLK without also talking about Deacons for Defense and Justice + others who DID* practice armed* and violent resistance during civil rights protests/demonstrations + confronted the KKK armed as well.

I think theres a lot of factors in play there mainly, how many us soldiers will be ok with orders to openly shoot American citizens in the streets, and imo the odds are a lot better in that scenario than doing nothing
