Lmfao the amount of people saying you must peacefully resist state violence is wild. The state isn't going to get tired enacting violence on the population, hoping they'll eventually feel bad about it and stopped is delusional af

Agreed, I want to talk about an experience. In my country, the people initially resisted the violence of the state through peaceful means. We actually achieved significant results, because avoiding violence made our position stronger. It also made it impossible for the state to label us as rioters or traitors—they truly had nothing they could use to justify their repression. But when some people started resorting to violence, the state was able to label them in many ways: terrorists, traitors, infiltrators, or outlaws. This strengthened the state’s position and gave it the justification to use all kinds of repression against the people.

Study bullying. A bully won't ever stop until you fight back. Non-violence is great in theory, but most ineffective.
