This is how I use AI as well. I’ve tried Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf. I don’t like the feeling of it. I find my self blindly accepting things without proper review whereas if I have Claude open in another window, I tend to review and modify more. https://x.com/hesamation/status/1946247982833082623?s=46

me too, I've never tried any AI in my code editor, and I don't know how to do that.

me too and sometime I forget to ask the llm, what can I say, I love coding and having control of what I am doing, that said they are incredible assistants when I have any doubt

I've been seeking a balance: I've deliberately set aside code generation when I want to think about something and enjoy the design. When I know it's a tedious application of a pattern (implement it for this interface, then do the same for this other interface, then...) I let AI generate the code and I review it for correctness. Saves me some sanity points from the tedium, while still allowing me to enjoy coding and exercise my brain.
