i remember learning about the bizarre things women would (whether voluntarily or via coercion) do to their bodies to be perceived as desirable like elongate their necks as a kid and thinking how strange it’s nice that people just get to be themselves now lol

yea heels just seem so unfunctional and hard on the body in a certain way i lowkey am a fan of uniforms though in certain situations it’s ok to be part of a we and see everyone on the same playing field sometimes

Exactly! If you want to wear heels because you love them, awesome. But to be forced to wear them when we know they aren’t great for you feels awful.
