With all the weirdness going on, I think that it’s a still a time to reply, but I would keep it close with people you follow and who follow you back or uplifting communities (like /success ) who are very friendly and open to new folks. I don’t think this is the right time to cold engage with accounts that don’t follow you. I’d wait a few weeks until the dust settles. The spam label sucks. It’s detrimental to your experience here. If you don’t have the patience to wait, buy FarCards and Hypersubs with gated chats. Hack your way into new groups. But cold replies that aren’t worth their weight in gold will probably been seen in poor light right now.

I just heard about this channel and still I don't understand what are they doing different from other channels, is this a hype or true success story lol? Wonder how other channels can benefit from their strategy here.

It’s because @maretus has leaned in hard and had dedicated a lot of time and energy here. But I think we’ve proofed the thesis that communities can succeed here!

Most definitely proofed it. I think if Farcaster is to succeed long term, it will be because of channels and communities in part.
