🧵1/ Hi everyone, Ina here! Two days ago, I started a crowdfi campaign to interview Naoko Watanabe, an incredible Japanese Woman who has completed 13 out of 14 summits of Himalayans 🌏🏔️. From my info, she is waiting the visa for the 14th one. 2/ I first discovered Naoko on a Japanese TV show called 'Crazy Journey'. She jokingly mentioned that hiking Everest was like going to an izakaya (Japanese bar) for her—just a hobby! 😅 3/ What inspired me most was how Naoko has been working as a nurse for 6 months to save money and then spends the rest in Nepal preparing for her hiking. At that time she did not have donations, so all her expenses were paid by herself. 4/All funds raised will go directly to Naoko, for her preparations on next summit and to cover the fee for this interview. Where you can donate? https://crowdfi.withfabric.xyz/campaign/support-the-interview-with-the-first-asian-woman-to-summit-14-peaks-4pj1aq7bo2yo Video from her Everest BS: https://www.instagram.com/p/C7IopOMvHq5/
I’ve been offline for a month since having my baby. It’s been a wild and beautiful experience—but truly, nothing prepares you for it. One of the hardest, most transformative things I’ve ever done. You can just build things… but this? You can just give life. Based! Ps photo looks cute but reality is dark circles like panda 😅
