I just spent 2 hours trying to figure out how I’m getting to one of the temples on my pilgrimage because all the transit apps suddenly gave me “no way there” errors. I occasionally run into this in Japan, but the stakes are lower. I couldn’t ignore this message. I had to figure out why it was happening and fell down

I tried making food samples at a workshop in Asakusa🍤🥬 The experience included making lettuce as a must-have, plus choosing two types of tempura ingredients. Put on an apron and get ready! The staff taught us carefully, so I finished making everything without any trouble☺️✨ 食品サンプルつくり楽しかった☺️🫶🏻

I just watched a grandfather (I assume) put his grandkids on the train and when they waved goodbye, he waved and looked very stoic. As soon as the train took off, he started sniffling and a few tears fell. And now I’m standing here all teary eyed because it was such a sweet moment. Men: it’s okay to show your emotion
