Bug report: GIFs getting dropped from casts (see video for example).

I’ve tried and confirmed several times. I was able to upload a GIF successfully several hours ago, so this is new. This is also challenging because I often speak in GIFs.

It's relatively easy for young people to be idealistic. Less time on earth for "the devil" to test them. Harder as time goes on for adults because they're presented more and more murky situations to stray from their values. Knowing even what one's values are is more than half the battle.

This makes me contemplate that the Faustian contract is really a universal pattern, much more frequent than we use to think.

I hadn't thought of it that way. I was thinking more in a "selling your soul" (giving up values) context. Yours is sweeter I think.

Interesting take here. "Will you marry me" is one such way to say "Give me your soul"

I personally despise the “everyone has a price” narrative.
