I have suggested before that we could do something about this problem, for example, like the image on the right. However, @dwr responded to a question in a recent AMA as follows: Don't worry about old reactions expiring. They aren't that valuable to the network (and if they are to you, buy more storage). I mean, that day will never come. So I understood that this day will never come, and I won't have to worry about it. I'm going to leave it until my cast is full.
