seeing more and more founder friends flipping a 180 and shifting towards part time (a few hrs a week) consulting to have more free time and space to explore hobbies and work on personal projects.

wait till they have kids. having enough money to spend time with the family in the house and make a good living is out of this world

I think it comes with age. When I was younger, I worked both on vacation, on weekends, and outside of working hours. Now I have changed my priorities and devote more time to myself and my family
