Trump pulling out of the nuclear treaty with Iran during his first term has set the stage for Israel's attack

Iran’s eventually going to realize that a nuclear stockpile is the only way to prevent future armed aggression and the world will be much less safer for it.

You don't think they know that already?

If they did, why don’t they have nukes already? Just about every regime that gave up their nuclear programs has been invaded, attacked, or overthrown over the past 15 years.

Give me a couple examples. Iran has been dealing with IAEA inspectors and was in a treaty for awhile, but the news has made it seem like they've been on the cusp of having nukes for 30 years now.

Ukraine Libya Iran Iraq Ok so 4 out of 9 but that’s a much better ratio than nations that built the bomb.

Ukraine is only partially taken over. Iran doesn't really count cause that was internal.

Ukraine has been partially occupied for 11 years and are still under attack by Russian forces. Which would never happen if they had the bomb still. Iran essentially halted progress at the 90 yard line and used it as a negotiating tool. Would Israel have tried to decapitate their leadership if they’d completed the bomb instead of thr JCPOA?
