If they did, why donβt they have nukes already? Just about every regime that gave up their nuclear programs has been invaded, attacked, or overthrown over the past 15 years.

Give me a couple examples. Iran has been dealing with IAEA inspectors and was in a treaty for awhile, but the news has made it seem like they've been on the cusp of having nukes for 30 years now.
