In terms of job prospects I guess the metaphor might work on a longer scale. I don’t think it’s wise for everyone to become ignorant to how code, computers, etc work.

perhaps he's a face tattoo artist joking aside, "learn to code" carried "earn a lot of money easily" with it and i think many jumped on that that's going away, but understanding how to code works is still as important as ever. maybe even more
