Well said, self-regulation is everything. My addition: You aren't regulating your emotions well because you don't know how. You don't know how because of misaligned incentives that depend on your being without regulation.

It happens when I stop my meditation practice cause “I don’t have time”. These days I feel anxious because I can’t schedule my work properly and my life end up being a continuous context switching.
