i’m torn between Nintendo Switch 2 and Steamdeck / Lenovo Legion Go S (SteamOS)…

i already have a gaming PC co maybe upgrading Switch to Switch 2 is the way to go, since all the previous games are compatible

what do you guys think?

Steam deck, better hardware. Some games are more enjoyable handheld even tho I have a gaming PC too. I barely touch my Switch. Only reason to get Switch 2 is for Nintendo IP which has been in decline for a while now and they didn’t even release anything major imo. Zelda release for the first Switch was smarter.

Steamdeck 100% -- OLED at that. The library is incomparable. I also have a gaming PC and a PS5, the Steamdeck goes with me almost everywhere. 

+ you can also emulate the Steamdeck for any Nintendo game/console you could possibly want.

yeah, switch 2 feels like a solid h/w upgrade, not many new releases

that said, I’ve not played or finished many previous releases (looking at the breath of the wild)

might be steamdeck, or I’ll wait for the v2

are there even any good games on the switch? i'd rather get a steamdeck
