I said to my partner early on that it seems like she is playing a role that was written for a man. 🤡 She’s great and it’s still good, but it just shows that a simple gender swap doesn’t work 100% and whether we like it or not there are nuances.

I’m no film buff but I work closely with First 5 California, which exists because of Rob Reiner. Also shout out to his fight against Prop 8, which is memorable for me because it was one of the first, and important to me, things I could vote on.

Fresh off the needles!! I haven’t done colorwork like this in a long time and tried quite a few new techniques out on it. It came out mostly fine, a few mistakes but hopefully better after a wash and shape. Used 2 balls of yarn from my stash. For a family member who lives skulls and such.
