trying a new 70% spicy drinking chocolate with allspice, cayenne peppers, cinnamon, and pasilla chile

writing about products & protocols on Farcaster | prev. Juicebox, Nouns, RAW DAO | casting about coffee, hi-fi, and other rabbit holes

spices were really well integrated into the 70% choc, very smooth. not particularly spicy, more cinnamon/allspice than chile or cayenne. 

didn’t nail the texture on the first try preparing this but still pretty good.

one bag of Soma’s “Dark Side of the Mug” 70% and you’ll be hooked. even better if you have a nice espresso machine for some microfoam.

can give you more reccos if you want to venture into spicy etc.

It was actually a pretty weird experience. Like 2 great drinks mixed, and I couldn’t decide whether I liked it or not. But ultimately drank it all and will again. So I guess it’s good haha

I had a spicy chai hot chocolate recently, not bad. It felt like mixing a few bangers to see what would happen 😂
