i feel weird bringing up death around people because i don’t want to upset them, but i know that’s a projection that may not be based in truth do you feel bothered by death talk? or wish people were actually more open? i’m cool with it and like to joke about it and would love to know if you are too 🖤

Not bothered by it and always ready to discuss it. But I also respect individuals having varying degrees of comfort. To each their own. Personally, I think about death all the time. It’s like breathing. I’m doing it even without trying. There’s a constant awareness of it that is a big driving force in my life.

I believe you can joke about anything - as long as it's not a super raw and recent situation. but with death specifically, I get that some people have painful triggers. though maybe those who are genuinely sensitive are actually a tiny minority, and the rest of us are staying awkwardly silent for no good reason, assuming it's 'inappropriate' when it's not
