Being single and not eating out a lot is fucking hard. How do I cook for just myself? Haven’t really figured it out yet, but I need to. I want to get in better shape and start eating healthier before it’s too late. Those years are moving fast!

Load your freezer with frozen vegetables. Load your fridge with fresh vegetables. Make portion controlled sizes of dishes that contain one vegetable portion / one protein portion / one carbohydrate portion/ one meat fish portion (if that's your thing) Make for two and freeze half. It takes a bit of effort to not just eat the same thing every day but you're going to feel more motivated to do so the better nutrition you have. Sweet potato is a go to for me, as are eggs, as is pasta (tend to eat less of this now). Tinned tomatoes are good too. Keep bottles of things like cooked chick peas and lentils so you can throw into a salad to bulk out. Learn how to cook rice (or buy a rice cooker - they are cheap) Get an air fryer. Hope that helps!

I don’t like vegetables lol. Not many at least. Carrots, celery, lettuce, onions, jalapeños, is really about it when it comes to veggies. I know how to cook but I hate leftovers and suck at cooking small portions of shit. I guess I just need more practice and to stop being lazy.
