I know it's not the end of the year yet but I don't care. Sometimes things just happen at the time they need to happen and there is nothing that can be done about it. Or maybe it's just because I'm impatient. Who the fuck knows?!

Right then, Another twenty pages done today so we're up to 35 revised and a total page count now of 104. Some of those pages are formatted in a particular way as a stylistic choice and won't take a minute of screen time, but it should balance out anyway as the script itself is action heavy.

About 15 pages into the rewrite. Spent about two hours agonizing over one sentence on the first page. And about another hour trying to work out hoe best to format one of the sluglines.

I went for a run. First in 8 months? It's got to be something like that.
Full lap of the park running and then two more mostly walking with some running interspersed.
More like jogging to be honest, one gear above walking.
It's a start.
Plus I probably ought to get some new shoes. And knees. And hips. And my lungs...

Really enjoying Daisy Jones & The Six. Making me want to work on big projects in a team environment again. (and be young enough to be able to take a lot of drugs without feeling like I´ve been in a high speed bullet train accident the following day.)

Tidied up that last section so I'm calling that officially a first draft now. Going to take a break over the weekend and then will do a full read through a few times without changing anything as I go before coming back after another break for the rewrites.

Damn that was a slog. Need to go back over again tomorrow but that's more or less the first draft done now. Last part was very difficult to write. That's the full on action climax at the end of the film now written. Just the coda and the first draft will be complete. Thought it was running long, it's actually pretty much where I want it.
