Moxie Official

I’ve been asked a lot about the Moxie community call and reduced emissions, so here’s my take:

We know emissions will continue to decline until they run out. It’s in the docs, and we know it’s coming—so I’m just going to get used to it. It’s not ideal, but it’s also not the end of the world. 

It’s still free money after all and I would rather maintain the planned runway than have it run out months earlier than expected. I am relieved to see that the team is listening to feedback and open to making changes. 

If you’re bullish about Moxie, it shouldn’t be for the free rewards. It should be for what comes after that.

If you’re bullish on Moxie, it shouldn’t be because of today’s free rewards (though they’re a nice bonus). The real reason to be bullish is what’s coming later—Moxie’s introduction of a new advertising model. 

Moxie Promote will introduce what I’ll call pay per action (PPA) advertising. If you’re at all familiar with Google, you will likely have heard of pay per click (PPC) advertising. It’s their main product and primary revenue stream. Moxie Promote is creating a similar product on Warpcast.

This will give creators and channel owners a more direct path to monetization. If you have a large enough audience, you can bet advertisers will want to reach them and Moxie Promote will make this happen at the protocol level. 

Having spent most of my career in online advertising, I know how massive PPC is and I believe PPA could be just as big. 

This is why I’m bullish on Moxie.

So, you're saying that the Moxie community call is about the reduced emissions and that it's not a big deal?

Being at the beginning of this should pay off unbelievably. Short term views on this are one year as far as I'm concerned.

It good or should I say better tokenomics during an airdrop, essentially what any tipping token is doing here.
Just a new distribution model for dropping.
The ability for Airstack team to look at the data and course correct makes me more bullish. It’s something that other tokens here didn’t do and had to over correct which created a ton of bad vibes and FUD.
It will also in theory be much better for price going forward.

Oh absolutely I would, I was before I even knew about Moxie, but the time is rewarded other places on FC too. So I guess it's more of a choice where our valuable time is directed. Don't get me wrong, not finding fault whatsoever. It's all a choice and I am grateful for you, Syndicate, all members and the big M.

But in the same note, I would already be here anyway, so for me, it’s free money.

Agree with all except the free money part. It cost time to create and earn it. My time is not free. In fact it's not even close in other businesses and a sacrifice was made to earn Moxie. I have a real conviction in the product and the team and to be clear I am extremely bullish on the leadership and Moxie and it takes time and effort to learn the web3 deal. But anything that consumes my time I do not consider "free". Free is entering a raffle at an event I am already at and winning a free surfboard or fishing reel. I worked for my Moxie. So did you. You worked hard for it. I appreciate all of the above. Sustainability of the project is #1 and the more I research about @betashop.eth the more bullish I am.
