My vibe coding a mini app journey so far. Since it's my first time, I wanted to do something very basic like a quiz before I get more advanced 1. used v0.dev to build a nice looking frontend to work with. Found it was so much easier and prettier than just using Cursor directly even with more prompting 2. moved code into Cursor and refined from there since found v0 wasn't as good about refinements I was requesting (especially with guiding me to popular React libraries). Added context with farcaster mini apps and wagmi docs 3. got something basic working locally that I wanted to deploy 4. got stuck on Vercel deploy and been going in loops with Cursor on the cause after pasting in error logs. Got so stuck I just restarted everything over from scratch but then ran into same issues so likely something obvious I need to fix once I try again tomorrow Shoutout @sophia @maaria for the vibe coding tips

When you get stuck like that, something that often works is asking cursor for a detailed summary of the problem to give to another ai and then give that summary to another llm. Have it generate directions for cursor and then back to cursor.

U should use the claude code extension in cursor its way better than the default cursor agent imo

Great to see And vibe coding unblock as a service What’s the value of an unblock — $50, $200, $1000?

I also got frustrated when I first started getting into coding. Do you remember your first mini app about tarot? I cried more than five times out of frustration 😭 Even now, I still get frustrated, but I don’t cry anymore, I just take a day off to clear my mind and refresh myself haha.

I have been streaming vibe coding on X and time.fun and all the stuff I've been building with Cursor/Claude this was my intro post https://x.com/serpinxbt/status/1937004388414820764 you might be better of using deno, fresh and deno deploy to keep it simple

So cool when we get out of our comfort zone These you’re discovering will help you build amazing stuff The more we learn building skills, the more we can tackle local problems and even scale the best builders Are you building something specific or just learning on the meantime?

Wow kudos to you! I sat down on Sunday trying to build an app with Lovable. In the end I could only get it deployed and semi tested for Android. Made me a bit saaad 🥲

bookmarking this as i just outlined my vibecode miniapp tonight in cursor. using context7 mcp server to pull docs really seemed to get cursor the context it needed to start outlining the plan.
