Honest Dev Day Take First, the good Quality of attendees and general community vibes always good. People are happy to be part of and contributing to the network Event organization and programming very good. No nonsense, no filler content like you see at similar conference-like events The new "Discover. Trade. Create" mantra is smart and strategic. Coherent, actionable strategy with room for upside. The main presentation was a really good anchor for the rest of the event Dan and Varun honest and straightforward about their thinking as usual. No bs Now, the other stuff Some mild skepticism among attendees that the wallet strategy has enough juice to multiply DAUs Some of the lightning talk presenters openly discussing their Twitter growth strategies during their demos 😅. This is probably something you would have seen none or much less of a year ago at an FC event, as the early '24 era network euphoria has faded and devs are much more sober about their paths to PMF and/or sustainable revenue Not dev day related exactly, but many us have been having conversations online around the pitfalls of the creator coin narrative and these convos very much continued irl. This is becoming a significant drag on morale/vibes/enthusiasm. The "if you don't like them, don't buy them" crowd is really missing the point Overall though, everyone there loves farcaster and is excited for the future

Thank you for coming!! Btw personal experience pre-Merkle as someone who was working on Bountycaster during 2023 and 2024 era when we expanded to Twitter/X it was something that was talked about that Farcaster is one of the best go to market but needs more users to be venture scale so good to expand outside unless *potentially* launching a token (which we didn't have) So thinking was to be really transparent about how other builders are approaching building on Farcaster first and then successfully expanding out for now until we grow significantly (like Bankr). That way builders can support each other on any learnings

Appreciate that y’all want what’s best for devs and don’t throttle their growth even if it means pursuing growth outside As a long-term strategy this will be far more successful than being parochial

yea for sure, I think the twitter parts of demos were just honest and not a mark on the event
