I kind of have a weird aversion to using C-suite titles at a small, early stage team. Feels weird for me to ever say out loud or write down 😂

I am curious if anyone here has experience building medium sized orgs (10-200 let’s say) following square’s ~titleless philosophy (ref https://medium.com/@gokulrajaram/the-one-thing-ceos-should-delay-as-long-as-possible-ea28347714b0) and what your thoughts on the experience are

agree, it sounds a bit pompous. that's how it was in my first team too, but due to our inexperience (which made it even more comical), we didn't know how to name ourselves differently 🫣

It is objectively funny when your firm is three people, all “C-suite” sharing a coworking space between themselves and the intern 😅
